Competition Rules & Regulations
Before participating in the competition, all participants must register through the official Ambasthani Form.
- After successfully registering, you must submit your reel in the “Video Upload” column of the registration form. The video must be in 1080p resolution and 30 fps output.
- Videos for this competition can be shot using either a camera or a mobile phone.
- Participants must have a minimum of 500 followers on their Instagram account to be eligible.
- Only the first 150 reels registered will be considered for this competition.
- Once your reel is submitted, it must be posted on Ambasthani Vibes’ Instagram page as well as collaborated on your personal Instagram page.
- The theme of this reel competition is Onam. Reels that are not Onam-themed will be disqualified.
- Only Malayalam is permitted as the medium of language for reels in this competition.
- There is no age restriction, and everyone is welcome to participate. (However, Ambasthani team members are not allowed to participate in this competition.)
- By participating, you grant Ambasthani Vibes the right to post your submitted reels across all their channels during the competition period.
- The duration of the reel must be no less than 30 seconds and no more than 58 seconds. Reels outside this time frame will not be accepted.
- Each submitted reel must be your original creation. You may draw inspiration from existing online trends, but copied content will lead to disqualification.
- Avoid any religious, communal, personal insults, or regional/derogatory remarks in your reels. Such content will not be accepted.
- Individual and group entries are allowed (groups must not exceed 5 members). (Family entries are exempt from this limit.)
- Only one entry per participant is allowed. Multiple entries will result in disqualification.
- The Instagram account used to submit the reel must feature the actual participant in the video. If not, the entry will be disqualified.
- As per reel format guidelines, the video must be in vertical (portrait) format only. Horizontal (landscape) videos will not be accepted. Additionally, videos that are partially vertical (e.g., with black bars at the top and bottom) are also not permitted.
Terms and conditions
- Ambasthani Vibes reserves the right to publish your submitted reel on any of its social media or online platforms without prior consultation with the reel’s creator.
- The decision of the judging panel will be final and binding.
- A total of 25 videos will be selected for the final round of this competition.
- All reels submitted must include the Ambasthani Reel Contest logo at the top-right corner of the video. The logo frame file can be downloaded from the Ambasthani website and must be used accordingly.
- Ambasthani Group reserves the right to disqualify any entries containing content that is violative, threatening, misleading, fake, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, provocative, or inappropriate in any form.
- Participants must have at least 500 followers on Instagram. On the day your video is posted on the Ambasthani Vibes Instagram page, you must collaborate the post with your own Instagram account.
- The theme of the competition is Onam, and only reels related to this theme will be considered. Any reel that is not based on the Onam theme will be disqualified.
- There are no age restrictions, and the competition is open to participants from all districts of Kerala.
(Ambasthani team members are not eligible to participate.) - The person appearing in the reel must be the same person who is submitting the entry using their Instagram account. If this is not the case, the video will be disqualified from the competition.
- Among all the videos posted on the Ambasthani Vibes Instagram page, those that receive the most views and likes will be considered as one of the selection criteria for choosing winners.
- Other judging criteria will include content quality, creativity, editing, cinematography, sound quality, and overall video quality.
- The competition is open to all. By participating, each contestant agrees and consents to Ambasthani Group collecting their registration data. All personal data will be handled in accordance with the privacy policy.
- Ambasthani reserves the right to make necessary changes to the competition rules based on the volume and nature of submissions received.
- Attractive prizes and trophies will be awarded to the top three winners of the competition.
